Your readings
We process the birth details, questionnaire answers, life events or tarot question you submit to produce the reading you request. We do not keep the original input text or birth details in our application database. Your browser may remember birth details, a recent chart or a pending question for the current tab.
Chakra photos are analysed on your device and are not uploaded. Our server receives seven colour scores and an image fingerprint to create the reading. These do not identify a person by their face.
Cookies and usage records
The functional cookie __session contains a random, signed visitor identifier. It lets us count daily readings, reopen the same draw and prevent abuse. ma_lang remembers a language you choose. Both cookies last up to one year. You can delete them and browser storage in your browser settings.
Our database stores usage counters, reading request identifiers, random draw seeds and coded fingerprints used to recognise retries and repeated questions. We also record which tools are used and limited result information, such as a sign or reading topic, linked to your visitor identifier. This is pseudonymous data, not a promise of complete anonymity.
For security, the hosting service processes connection information such as your IP address. When network rate limiting is enabled, our application uses a coded identifier that changes daily. We do not use advertising trackers, sell this data or follow you across other websites.
Why we may process this data
We process your reading inputs to provide the service you request (performance of a contract). Security, abuse prevention and limited usage statistics are based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service. We handle privacy requests to meet our legal obligations.
Service providers
Hosting and database providers process data on our behalf. Production providers, storage locations, any transfers outside the EEA and their safeguards: [hosting and database details]. Hosting-log and backup retention: [log and backup retention].
Retention
Reading retry records are scheduled for automatic deletion three days after the start of their UTC date, usage counters after 31 days, and usage events after 365 days. Deletion is asynchronous and normally completes within a further 24 hours. Browser data remains subject to your browser's storage and session-restoration settings. Correspondence is kept while needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Contact [privacy email] to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, or to request portability where it applies. Because guest records use a visitor identifier, we may need information that lets us find your records; please contact us before clearing your cookies if you want us to locate them. We normally respond within one month and explain any lawful extension. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local data-protection authority.
