Third eye chakra
Indigo · the forehead, between the eyebrows · intuition, imagination and insight
The third eye chakra sits on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and is linked with the colour indigo and the element of light.
In the chakra tradition it is the centre of intuition and inner vision: the quiet knowing that comes before logic, and the imagination that lets you picture something new.
When this energy is clear, you trust your gut feelings and see situations with fresh eyes.
When this energy flows
- intuition
- imagination
- seeing the bigger picture
- inner clarity
Simple practices
- 1Sit in silence for five minutes with your eyes closed.
- 2Keep a notebook by your bed for dreams.
- 3Before deciding, ask: what does my gut say?
Affirmation
I trust what I see, and what I sense.
