Mercury retrograde
Mercury is direct. Next retrograde: 24 Oct – 13 Nov, starts in 17 days.
Review, re-read and reconnect. Slow down your words and plans.
Mercury rules thinking, talking, travel and technology. When it's retrograde, misunderstandings and small delays feel more common, so it's a good moment to slow down and double-check.
Think of it as an editing season rather than a writing season. Finish what you started, reply to old messages, and reconnect with people from your past.
Three or four times a year, for about three weeks each time.
A good time for
- Re-reading, editing and finishing projects
- Reconnecting with old friends
- Backing up your phone and files
Go gently with
- Signing important contracts in a hurry
- Buying new gadgets on impulse
- Assuming people understood you
