Sacral chakra
Orange · the lower belly · creativity, pleasure and emotional flow
The sacral chakra sits in the lower belly, just below the navel. It is linked with the colour orange and the element of water.
In the chakra tradition it is the centre of creativity, pleasure and feelings that move freely. It is connected with play, sensuality, art and the joy of making something new.
Like water, this energy likes to flow. When it does, life feels juicy and alive.
When this energy flows
- creativity and playfulness
- enjoying the senses
- letting feelings move
- openness to new experiences
Simple practices
- 1Put on a song you love and move however you like.
- 2Spend ten minutes making something just for fun.
- 3Take a slow bath or shower and enjoy the warmth.
Affirmation
I let joy and creativity flow through me.
