Solar plexus chakra
Yellow · the upper belly · confidence, will and personal power
The solar plexus chakra sits in the upper belly, between the navel and the ribs. It is linked with the colour yellow and the element of fire.
In the chakra tradition it is your inner sun: confidence, motivation and the courage to act. It's connected with self-esteem, decisions and the feeling that you can shape your own life.
When this fire burns steadily, you know what you want and you take kind, clear steps toward it.
When this energy flows
- self-confidence
- clear decisions
- motivation and drive
- healthy boundaries
Simple practices
- 1Write down one thing you did well today.
- 2Stand tall for one minute with your hands on your hips.
- 3Make one small decision quickly and stick to it.
Affirmation
I trust myself and take steps toward what I want.
